Why is evryone so confident in Johnson? How well did he pitch in spring training?

Don't trust too much on starting pitchers in early season. They won't go deep. Bullpen will decide if you win or lose in late innings.

Miami is likely to win here but no value on ML imo. So passing..No need to rush, more games ahead..

I don't think Vodka was disputing that Johnson is a stud, I think he was more concerned about the after effects of Johnson's injury at this early stage of the year.

You can't be afraid to lay big numbers in baseball or you will pass up a lot of winners. That being said this is not a game you should bet IMO. It's just too early to really know for sure. Marlins look real attractive at -140 but not at -170 and I wouldn't touch st Louis just because of the plus number until I see lohse pitch a few games.

Yes Johnson is a stud when healthy, but the Cardinals middle of the order guys Holiday, Berkman and Molina are all hitting at least .300 against him, and all three hit well in the spring. I'm expecting a little higher scoring 6-4 type game. I'm on the over and the Cardinals TTO3.
