I did it also. The last time I bet Kershaw was the early Thursday game against the Cards, so I'm hoping for a little deja vu. I hope he has control of that overhand curve today.

If he does we should cash. He's one of the best when he's got his control harnessed.

What worries me is that Maholm has been pitching like Cy Young (2 runs or less in 6 of last 7 starts).... and if Kershaw doesn't have his best stuff, it could very well be a 4-1 Pitt win.

I got Pirates +118 early. Maholm is a beast at home and Kershaw sucks on the road.

I was leaning Pirates myself because I heard Torre was going to rest some of the starters, but he's decided not to risk the D-backs gaining ground.

6 up, 6 down....
I've watched the Dodgers long enough to know when they've decided not to show up.

God I hate when soft tossers get guys out without K'ing anybody. Really lame. Some of those ground balls will turn into hits though. Just watch.

Malholm is really establishing himself as one of the better pitchers in the league. On a good team, he'd have about 14-16 wins by now.

can't see pirates generating alot more offense... w/o doumit and moss... they really have absolutely no power out there..... seeing as how mclouth and laroche have 7 total home runs between them..... then you have essentially 4 minor leaguers in cruz, andy laroche, chavez, and morgan. add to that a washed up back up in gomez, and a streaky bench journeyman in michaels...and where do the runs come from?
