SBR Live odds is awesome! I once used sportsoptions (free trial) and it wasn't nearly as good as sbr odds.
I didn't use SBR Live Odds until a couple a couple months ago and now I don't know how I got along without it!

I wouldn't say it's free money. It is very useful if you know how to utilize one. Also using the right line service is crucial. They aren't all the same.

If you are a scalper / middler you need DonBest but could get by with SO. You could dabble in those arbitrage strategies with SBROdds but you would miss critical injury and other player news that lead a lot of line moves.

If you are a player who wants to use a line service to measure value, chart moves and eventually bet the best number then SBROdds is actually better than both paid services.

hey, for those of us who've never tried any of the paid services, do you care to expound on the why's as to why you've made the suggestions you did? i've checked out the SBROdds site and am wondering what the paid services offer thats any different. i've also seen sportsinsights as well

Post of the year so far. It's too bad so many of these guys are too stupid to shut up and sit back and read/listen and learn how to turn their $10 losing wagers into $1,000 winning wagers...but that's how it goes. We need those losers so the winners can get paid. SBR has been over-killed with 18-25 year olds who think they're gonna make millions off betting...and you can't tell them a thing. Great post, John.

The real question is... yeah you can have all these services... but how do you take advantage of sbrodds or don best to make a profit? Just cause you have the source doesn't guarantee a profit... I never used sbrodds or don best. That's why I am asking

Line movement prediction and analysis is one small area of the winning formula. Trends, stats, situational analysis, forecasting, metrics, etc. all play their part as well.

never used a line service before.. so i wouldnt know.. but if all u are doing is chasing steam ur betting 70% favs and ur losing at 45-50% which is +EV for a book in the long term

basically for every steam move that is right, there is fake ones, or ones that are wrong ...


i highly doubt it is profitable to use it as ur ONLY means of whether or not to play a game. Recommendation is to analyze the games urself through stats/etc and then once u have them all capped, narrow down ur pick(s) based on steam maybe.. but dont just air bet steam

Don Best cost 5k a year. Sbrodds gives live lines, but no injury report for free. 5k is insane.
