Since you want to "ACT" like you know... explain then... how do they "loft" it then..? Do they ask their coach to pull out the putter leg for extra points..?

Why go to bed? I could never get tired of embarrassing you. If you haven't noticed, a football is an oblong object. The point of impact from the kicker's foot effects the trajectory and thusly, the loft of the kick. As such, a kicker is able to kick the upper half of said oblong object and kick what is referred to as an onside kick. But by your logic, that would defy the laws of physics.

Got to pull you up on it. It's maths, not math. You should know this. You're getting too Americanised.

If you need further explanation, the further down the point of impact from the kicker's foot on said oblong object in relation to its upright stature, the higher the loft of and the greater the angle of the trajectory for said kick.

Interesting point and one with which I struggle every day.

Colour, maths, tyre.....the list is endless.

I think Shams gets his science/physics facts from playing the long jump on Track & Field.

Was this the game with the horrible "excessive" celebration penalty after the TD on the last play of the game?

i think it was just that the guy who scored tossed the ball in the air. not a blatant excessive celebration.
