I get it too. My point is no one thinks he's a ped. I agree that those names shouldn't be tolerated by any means, even as a joke. There are those who get deeply upset by the supposed joking on here about race, sexual orientation, disabilities, etc... yet very few give a crap until they get an infraction and cry. Yet as staff we see the other side. There are many more looking at these threads than ever choose to post in them. I think people forget that. Maybe try to stick up for those guys too once in a while because they don't always have the guts to complain publicly xo

Shari: Australia, second to the Brits for using the C word. Yeah, but you're a woman and you haven't been in that country your entire life. The word was being tossed around quite a bit on the forum. I did think that oyster was your suggestion carried out by upper management.

100% no word of a lie, I've never made a suggestion like that to mgmt. Not about that word or any other. I'm pretty sure that all happened right before I started to work here.

This stuff upsets me at times... especially when I see posters whom I'd thought were somewhat intelligent resort to that crap. It's like when my dad always yapped at me about how silly people were for using common slurs.... "you know you have the easy way out by using a cheap word that's hurtful to some. Show some class, think about it and find an insult that will be more hurtful because it's not low brow. Low brow insults = gutter. You weren't raised there."

I know this guy better then any of you and he is no good. Not a word of truth to him as his dreams comes to words here. Maybe he is not one actively but his disires are left to reasoning. Maybe the title moderator wasn't under your name yet but someone posted that they tried to put you on ignore but weren't able to because they received a message that you were a mod and couldn't be put on ignore. I tried it and got the same message. Dunno, maybe that just had something to do with keeping the tennis forum clean.

As for words, I'm anti-censorship so to me pretty much anything should be allowed. I'm not a fan of hardcore racial hatred but even that should be allowed in my mind. Let people show their ignorance.

I think he craves attention. I've seen him type some of the most crude, hurtful, foulest rants that I've ever seen on here in 3yrs yet he apparently gets upset when someone calls him a name back. If I didn't work here, I'd 100% believe he was paid to be a flip flopper crap stirrer like he is (no towel pun intended). He's not however so I just assume he's a lonely dude, looking for a bit of companionship during games like we all are. If you think of him that way, and just vow not to pay attention, he's actually quite ok

Again: The majority of this forum is no longer North American. Very much an international crew. What you, Plommer and one or two others thought was acceptable doesn't really fly when others are throwing things in google translate.
