The obesity rate (i.e. the proportion of people) in the US who are obese is 7% (it's actually 7.6% but nvm) higher than it is in the UK. The size of the population is completely irrelevant.

30.6% of 300m (rounded) is = 91.8m
23.0% of 60m (rounded) is 13.8m

Furthermore immigration from Mexico will serve to REDUCE the obesity rate in the US. Do I need to explain that one to you too?

Some people want to be fit and compete in sports, some people just want to eat food and be lazy.
Personally, i would rather stay in decent shape and compete but if others want to get really fat and have horrible health down the road, it is their problem.

Should the goverment regulate what they can and can not eat ? I dont think so, then we would just read a thread about how controlling the United States government is and how non free we are.

My thought is this, if you have to compare your country, race, religion, gang, family, blood type, sexual preference, age or hair color to anybody else's, then your life sucks and you are trying to make yourself feel better by association.

I love my life. I love the people in it. I wish the cowboys would play better , but other then that, i am completely happy and have never bashed any other group of people. I can only wish that the rest of you find this kind of happiness.

Arguments could be made that the US consumer "piggybacks" on China's cheap manufacturing and "piggybacks" on the SA oil supply. Not sure what this, or Canada's, "piggybacking" means; it's far from what Forsberg was saying and far from the title of the thread.
