          It completely sucked but I did one round of the p-90x and the top thing I noticed was my abs looked pretty good, not great but good.

            Yea i tried doing Insanity... Its a killer man! Yea im sure its true about burning 1000 calories a workout, but im not a fan of running in place and back and forth in the house for an hour haha

                have you ever had a well-defined 6 pack? The reason I ask is because many taller, skinny guys have a longer torso and it's much more difficult to get a strong 6 pack showing. I have a more compact build and my abs tend to be bigger..way easy to get them showing. I think someone mentioned don't worry, you'll be the guy in the best shape on the cruise regardless of whether they're showing or not. I second this. Went to Mexico twice last year and no one was in shape. Further, almost everyone was European. I know people think the obese epidemic is purely a U.S. thing, but this couldn't be further from the truth from what I saw.

                      I never had a defined 6 pack. What i have is the outline of the abs. i just dont have the line down the middle and the other lines to show the actual packages, ya know?

                        good exercise that I do is I hang from the pull-up bar at the top of a squat cage. I position a DB between my feet and raise my knees up to my stomach...I don't do high reps...12-15 reps and only a few sets is needed.

                          Diet is 70% of the cutting phase. If you already have the bulk, you need to have a strict clean diet for at least 1 month straight, then u can bulk again. However, if you wanna cut and define your mass then eat alot of clean food:

                          -boiled chick breast + steam veggies + brown rice
                          -oats + frozen rasberries + protein powder
                          -2 x slices of multigrain bread – 2 slices are normally a serving. most are around 25-30g of low GI carbs for 2 slices. Some grilled lean beef or chicken or turkey & salads

                          Keep in mind:
                          Have the correct carbohydrate intake:
                          For a low carb day (without counting calories) have no carbs in the last 2 meals of the day. Instead supplement that with fibrous vegetables to suppress hunger.
                          The rest of the days carbohydrate intake should be roughly the same as your moderate carb days and if you can decrease it a bit more.

                          Eat more salads and low carb meals as the body digest these foods alot easier and quicker.

                            Do you run a lot?

                            I would suggest doing less ab work...less sets and less higher reps and less times a week. Do use resistance.

                              With diet...it's good to take a general concept and continue to refine it until you find what works for you. Case in point, I don't eat as clean as a lot of posters believe you have to. It's all about finding what works for you.

                                That sounds better than my 10 reps using the Ab wheel! LOL.. I work out at a gym where you cant do anything too crazy, dont want the Lunk Alarm to sound off!

                                I run on Sundays for Flag football. Thats bout it

                                      You can also take two of the single handles that are usually lying around near the double cable station...lower the station to its lowest setting...attach handle...take an exercise mat...lie down and extend your legs so that your feet can go in the handles. Bring your knees to your chest and then extend legs out straight. Will zap your abs. Hold a half crunch position to protect your lower back.

                                              Hes got awesome pointers! Oh I really do want to get cut.. or else i wouldnt waste peoples time here.

                                              I have so much fun on cruises! This will be my 4th. I go on them mainly for the Casino Too bad i lose more in the casino then i usualy pay for the cruise!

                                                    Keep your goals in mind here. You need to lose fat rapidly and are not looking for a long term diet. This is an instance where a crash diet is understandable.

                                                    With that said, google lyle mcdonald (dan duchaine disciple) and thank me later.

                                                    another option would be to get TTwarrior to chime in and then do the opposite.

                                                      I can remember reading the old lyle mcdonald cylical ketogenic diet day by day posts when he first tried the diet years and years ok. Still might have them printed out somewhere in the basement.
