You ever hedged a hedge?

what site can you do this on?

anybody done a side-by-side open parlay? start with 2 parlays at $50 each.... bet the same thing for the first 15 games.... then you have a win-win situation ex: value is 16,000 after 15 games. on last leg you go -800 fave or +600 dog.... taking both sides. the fave on one open parlay... and the dog on the other.... so you end up with 18,000 or 96,000 5dimes wouldn't have a problem with this, right?

well thats how your able to hedge... say you do 100 dollar parlay you have it up to 10 k.... you can take all minus 10000 or better plays... if they all win then you win lets say 10.5 k.. but if you hedge each at say + 6000... if there is a huge upset your covered and still walk away with with over 5k rather than your thumb up your butt

If you're betting on 5 Dimes you can also bet some good 2H lines when a team is up a good amount. A few days back Portland was up 18 at half and you could of bet +18 for the half for -2500 odds or something.

Obviously comebacks can happen as they did last night with the Grizzlies with the Warriors. Even still I've used them to advance open parlay's that are 70% of the way home but only take that with teams I would trust, definitely not the Warriors.

Open parlays should never be "serious", even the guy who hit the big one said it was just for fun and done every now and then. If I remember correctly, he did not hedge even his final bet. If you're able to string wins, then like I said make straight bets and let it ride. When you get to the limits, stop, pocket the cash, and start again. I'm 100% sure you will have better results doing that.

thanks guys..yea ebbearsfb1 with the Jets being such big dogs maybe i'll do a hedge just to get something out of it in case the Rangers get upset...altho the Jets are 0-7 on back to back this year lol

Now why wouldnt you just bet $330 on your hometown nba game paying -110 and hedging the visiting team with your parlay

If your team with the parlay wins you get paid $780 plus whatever the total payout of adding the -110 game - which should be alot more than $780

If your hedge bet hits you win $300 from your $330

No matter what your going to win $285 ($300 - initial investment of $15) or win $780+

Agreed. No reason not to hedge on the final play of a parlay especially on a hockey game like that that's no where near as certain as other sports / games.
