Obama is my vote. She seems like a good governor from reading the wikipedia on her. But I think she might be out of her league as a potential president.

Anyone have any thoughts on how this will affect the election? I can't really get a feel for it at this point. I would think it would have to hurt, but is a crazy election, so who knows.

And for the record, Gov. Palin (actually her staff) did answer the three questions I put to her back in June. Granted, the answers were filled with a lot of side-stepping, such as when I queried about whether or not she was even interested in the Veep position and what she thought about opening up more areas for drilling, the reply was, "The Governor enjoys her job in Alaska and believes there's a lot Alaska could be and should be doing to contribute to the rest of the U.S. Palin is supportive of opening ANWR (for drilling/exploration)."

She'll draw in a lot of the conservative, over-35 female vote, no doubt. And my guess is she'll bag a bunch of the moderate, over-40 white male vote that has simply grown tired of the idiot who currently resides at 1600 Pennsylvania and was leaning towards just voting against the elephants. I'm quite certain that my bigoted, sexist father and uncle are currently walking around with old man woodies this morning, yet they will turn on the woman and call her a bitch the first chance they get.

Best things I like about her are she's a member of the NRA and loves to fish, though both qualities are hardly what should be the driving force for anyone's vote this November, mine included.
