he bet a TV game after the time listed. So circumstantial at best. Personally I think he took a shot, but book was much worse, AND they changed their rules after the fact , rule that specifically centered around what happened.

I get the whole book changing rules. It's pretty shady. I am waiting to here him admit he took a shot. If that's the case should of knew it was a lose lose for him but I guess greed and thinking you get free money gets the best of people.

Since 5dimes is the choice of most people here. How would of Tony handled this? Doesn't he just ban Jim or take the money out of his account he tried to win by taking a shot or full refund

When Russy MW got his ankle bracelet removed he vowed to never break the law again. When MW moderated a dispute, there was blood shed with certain posters and books. Those were the crazy days of the industry.

This was 8 years ago and his story gets a little more embellished each year. He found an NBA game that was left open for part of the 1st qtr and was on pace to go way over. He placed the bet on the over. A couple of minutes AFTER the game was over he called and demanded the bet be cancelled. Btw, needless to say the bet lost. The book was known to keep bets open a while on NBA games and had zero history of cancelling those.

If he would of called earlier we would have backed him. But guys who knowingly past post and wait until the game is over to ask for a bet to be cancelled is not a situation that anyone is going to back. Its just a garden variety scamming opportunity.
