I tend to like home teams having extra time to rest. However.....
The one thing that worries me about this game is that it seems very similar to GB heading to ATL in the divisional round last year. ATL was only a marginal favorite and got torched. The fact that SF is more than a field goal dog has my attention. Something just doesn't look right.Comment -

Pinny opened Saints -155 at 8:00am ET Sunday morning. Anyone saying otherwise is looking at a source that did not capture the opener. It did jump to -165,. -175 and then -180 at 8:07am ET, but the sharp quick early birds caught the worm. Now sitting at -190 and the spread is t -3.5 -102 (was at +odds). In fact, I am now seeing solid -3.5 -110 across the board where there were a bunch of +100 and -105 yesterday.Comment -

One thing the saints are great at and I mean great. Is exposing their opponents linebackers. A few years back they absolutely manipulated and killed backers. The saints love to control the middle of the field and have the weapons to do so. Colston and Graham are two of Brees' favorite targets and do most of the damage in the middle.
The 49ers have the leagues best linebacking squad imho. Their defensive line has also played great this year. That entire front seven is a problem. I believe they will control the middle of field. As for the secondary , well their are far worse than 49ers. Is it their " weak point " , sure. Let's not get carried away though. It's a very solid unit.
