Man tough loss, I have to say that I've seen about 4 or 5 louisville games and I keep saying they are overrated and play sloppy, then they play a tough road game vs. Kentucky and look like contenders again and I scratch my head and say maybe teams like Providence, Seton Hall and Rutgers are just much better than people think. Anyway, I really hope Louisville gets it together, I'm a huge Cuse fan and the traditional powers in the Big east are starting to fade a little this year. Hope you guys bounce back, but that Cuse win at Providence by double digits is starting to look alot better.

Any thoughts on why the Cuse spread is going lower? Syracuse has blown out almost everyone they have played and Nova is really not good this year, only 8-8 and just had a really bad loss. Is this a result of that bad second half that Cuse had or am I missing something like Nova is getting back a key player? I'm thinking this is a good spot to play Cuse, the spreads have been getting rediculously high, and Marquette is a really good team. If Cuse can beat providence by 16+ at Providence I think they can handle this spread. Just trying to see if I"m missing something with Villanova's lineup tonight?Comment -
Villanova is improving and this game is being played at the pavilion, not the Wells Fargo ... The Wildcats have been almost unbeatable there. Jay Wright's bunch is going to continue to get better and that sure is a scary line movement if your on the Cuse. I think this will be a competitive game and the line is very fair. Although I do think this game has over a 60% chance of going over and that's worth a play for me.Originally posted by isotopes

Thanks for the insight, Personally I hope the line keeps going down so that I can pound Cuse tonight, I'm just not that impressed with an 8-8 Villanova team, granted it will be a big crowd and Jay wright is a great coach, but Syracuse's closest margin of victory was 4 v. Florida out of conference and 9 vs. Marquette in conference. This is a road game and they haven't played much on the road, but the road inconference games to USF, Providence and Depaul all worked out pretty well against them, as did their road game against NC State, Might be wrong, but I like them here. Anyway Really liking the over on the Cuse game as well. Many people do think that this spread is a "trap" or whatever you may want to call it, but personally I think Cuse rolls on Nova. The depth is just too much for Nova to handle. Cuse hasnt played on the road much, but I honestly dont think that will be much of a factor. Look for Syracuse to win by 13+. I may have a biased opinion but so be it. Im on Syracuse over 145 and -9......... BOL!
