yea they a10 doesnt have any games tonight or tomorrow. so probably just wait to start it till wed...

good conference has some teams that could make some noise come march..

actually might be going down to ac for the a10 games will let you know closer to date

and I agree, Louisville has to come out and put a big number on somebody after already losing two big east games @ home.

Providence has some talent but hopefully the Cards get the lead early and don't look back

Here's a spot where the Cardinals really need to get back on track in a big way. Coming off that tough loss to the Irish where Coach Brey completely out coached Pitino. Both Big East losses have came in games where Sophomore Center Gorgui Dieng (10.3 PPG, 9.4 RPG, 3.3 BLK) fouled out and he is the only guy that the Cardinals need to have on the court to be successful. This is where the mismatch occurs in this matchup. The Cards' should be able to to really pound the rock inside to Deing and Freshman Forward Chane Behanan (8.8 PPG, 7.7 RPG).

Providence has a very bright future, but the cards should be able to cover this number tonight.

The Pirates are really rolling and I just can't see this team slipping up @ home against DePaul in the spot. It's really as simple as that. They have a great 1-2 punch in Seniors Jordan Theodore (15.9 PPG, 7.4 APG) and Big man Herb Pope(17.9 PPG, 10.7 RPG) who is right behind WVU Kevin Jones for POY at this point of the season. The Hall also had an extra prep day than the Blue Demons. DePaul will play hard, but can't see them pulling the upset here.

Side Note: Can't believe this Pirate team isn't in the top 25 in both polls. They are 14-2 with a top 10 SOS...

The Irish are playing a very well disciplined style of basketball and are extremely well coached. Look for Notre Dame to build off their win @ Louisville and parlay that into a home win against South Florida.

The Bulls have really started conference play in a big way, by beating Rutgers and Villanova and just falling short (losing by 3) to UConn. But im not ready to buy into this squad yet, if they can beat the Irish in one of the toughest environments to win in college hoops, then maybe I'll start to pay attention.

Love Big East basketball. This thread is legit as I'm a huge Cuse fan! My one question to you is the Big East (well till next year) is the best and probably most challenging conference in college hoops. Big EAst teams always play each other very tough and upsets seem to happen more often than not (example:Providence vs. L'ville pending), wouldnt it be harder to choose the winner? This conference is just so dynamic, anyone can win. Now I get since you love the Big East and follow it you may have more info than most on the conference but still..... I just know when Im placing bets on the NFL as a Cowboys fan I usually stay away from whenever we play the Giants or Eagles as the Division games are always a toss up. Obviously there are plenty more teams in the NCCAB conference than NFL. Im just wondering what your thoughts are cause most of the time I see a Big EAst matchup like a mediocre team vs. a ranked team, I stay farrrrrrr away.

You'll turn it around, conference play can be rough at the start. You think Cuse is playable tonight? You know how I feel about them after watching that Marquette game.

Maybe just take them in the first half before they shoot their lead away again?
