They request two photo pieces of government-issued identification because he lives in a financially and politically unstable country. Either he submits it to them or he doesn't get paid. Quit bitching and provide the documentation. It's quite common in the industry.

cant really hurt to name-drop SBR casually but if they have been asking for the same things the whole time- then maybe you should get some sort of learner's permit. some sort of government ID or picture ID.

No I really think that dj is really incorrect here. Even if I live in a financially and politically unstable country ( I guess that makes me a criminal) they had the obligation then on my sign up to inform me that in order to be a customer and to be able to withdraw I MUST have a passport.

Listen buddy, you need to get your head out of your ass if you want to get your money. Bet365 requires TWO pieces of PHOTO identification, along with the other requested documents that you've already supplied.

Guess what. They rejected his passport asking for ................. a birth certificate... And he is not the only one. Go do your own research and cut the crap.

They require ONE PHOTO identification. If they want a second identification they require one of this
-Driving Licence
- Passport
- Birth Certificate
- National ID Cards.

There is no reason to reject my certificate. They claimed once that it was not readable and then they took it back saying that it is readable actually (after I filled sbr complaint form) but they reject it anyway. No reason at all.

So leave me be.

when 6 months ago I joined bet365 they asked me for a copy of my passport, ID Card or Driving License and they matched against my CC. They also contact me over the phone and sent me a letter at home.

most likely this guy deposited via ** or **, that's why they want two photo id's.

I withdraw twice form bet365, no issues, money in the bank in a couple of days.

Hi for all, i read all story about that and as my problem is the same a can't keep myself to tell the story.
First of all that it is a pity to speak about such interesting and good working book such bad words. I come to conclusion that they discriminate some kinds of countries or citizens of them. Lithuania is among them too.
I opened account made some bets and was suspended. I sent my ID card, they accepted it but after that it comes another message that i have to send them that stupid foto holding my id near the face. I done it. Now it is turn to PVC. I didn't got any letter from them. They resent it , another two weeks waiting - nothing. I then sent copy of bill, they do not accepted, so after four times resending letter i finally got it. Thanks got!!! But my good mood after talking live chat was changed suddenly. The code is correct, but they need foto copy of letter (for what?). As i hadn't foto camera with myself another some days passed while i got it and made and sent it to them. Waiting about a week, no message from them. I entered live chat and other news reached me that finally broke me. Now they need two forms of identification and signed them by notary send them via post. I live in uk with lithuanina id card without any problem. So they say that i must get passport or driving license, so it is that i must go to driving school to get drivers lisence to reopen my bet365 account or to fly to Lithuania to make passport. As i have work to do, when can i make that ? And finally i am not willing to send official documents by post to sportsbook company.
So that is the way they act with citizens of some countries, step by step , more and more documents, after client finally give up and they are left with some hundreds or thousands pounds.

Ive withdrawn from BET365 a few times, never a large sum tho, most was just under 1k USD. No problems whatsoever. Took almost 2 weeks tho, but it was all there.

This must be the 9th or 10th thread about Bet365 being very tough in terms of verifying the ID of customers from certain countries.

Hard to say why they should be so much more stringent than other UK based books. Multi-accounting, bonus abuse is a problem for all books and Bet365 are going way beyond what they are required to by law in terms of KYC.

I would rule out Bet365 trying to steal the OPs winnings but if the have him pegged as a 'winning player' they might figure it is in their interest to p!ss him off.
