A lot of poor people today will not be poor 10 years from now, a lot of well off people now will be in rehab or trailer park 10 years from now. Don't judge your "poor" girl today by what you think she will be, and by all means don't let the rich chick fool you, she could drop a few kids and never ever work for the rest of your life and take half your shit during the divorce.

What type of job/career does the current girl have? Is it an honorable line of work that simply doesn't pay well? (shoolteacher, etc) . Money.isn't everything. My wifes parents are loaded and haven't ever given us a dime. We haven't asked for anything either, but my.point is you will be marrying the girl, not her family. Once you have a kid you REALLY find out if you're compatible, and if u knew you weren't beforehand, but thought it would magically get better with marriage/kids, you will be sorely mistaken. Back to the parents/family thing...the baby boomers are the most selfish generation to ever live, they aren't giving us (our generation) jack shit til the day they die. Never ever marry a girl bc of her family instead of her, I remember it being tpting but its so exponentially different once you get hitched that you will need to be 100% compatible if it has to have a chance in hell of lasting
