I like college more because I look at the game as a puzzle and look for coaches to make efficient strategies/changes in their strategy. This also takes place in the nba to some extent, but the players are so good that coaches and their changes are way less impactful than a college coaches gameplan.
    great

so watch a chess match between 2 inferior talented teams or watch an up and down track-meet with the greatest athletes in the world???

Gee that's a hard choice to make (yea right)

SBR has been pretty racist for a few years now, actually it wasn't even to this bad until Obama got elected. Then some of these people finally showed their true colors. Overall it's tolerable to me, since I think majority of the white posters here are good reasonable people, fingers crossed though. This world ain't perfect, and I'll take SBR for what it is.

i love how you have decided i must be racist to think that nba regular season is unwatchable until the last 6 minutes of a gm..of coarse there are exceptions and i love nba playoff basketball but seriously most nights you get more unwatchable crap than not until the end of gms..

that said to me the nfl isnt much better these days with the pussyfied rules crippling defenses..

          ahahahaha
          dude, it's about basketball.
If I wanted to watch an up and down track meet I would watch a track meet where guys just run. When I turn on basketball I want to watch the sport and all the intricacies. The NBA coaches do very little, and the players play a brand of basketball that is hard to watch at times. Would love to see a hardass like many of the NFL coaches become an NBA coach. would be amazing. Guys would come into the lane and their would be no such thing as an easy layup/dunk. That is one of the main differences between the NBA and NFL. The NFL has coaches who don't give a fuk and would like to rip their opponents throat out, the NBA does not have that type of coaching. Do you know much about basketball? Did you play basketball in high school?

Squares absolutely love the NBA. This is undeniable. Ask any square dude you know, and they will admit to liking the NBA more than college. The NBA is a game that attracts the lowest type of intellect.

I will admit that I do like the NBA at times and I love to watch Lebron play, dude is the most talented player I have ever seen and will probably go down as the greatest basketball player of all time. Guy is amazing. I do not understand the hate for this guy. He is almost the perfect all around basketball player.

Without "white" people there would be no NBA so you can't say they don't support it.

But you'll never see black people supporting "white" sports.

i dont really like the nba but whenever people accuse me of being racist because of that I always come back with that I do like "rap" and "hip-hop", and if they then come back at me and ask me if I like slow jams and stepping, I say no but then I come back at them with how I like black comedians like martin and black movies like the best man and when stella got her groove on and jacob lyrics and boyz n da hood, and they usually don't have much to come back at me with after that

What's Brahma's theory? If you dislike the NBA, you are racist?

Like most of Brahm's "theories"-----that's retarded.

The NBA is not a good product. It just isn't. The game follows the same tired formula.

And this has nothing to do with race.

The NBA needs to contract. There are entirely too many bad teams, with little to no chance of ever winning a title in the next 20 years.

i agree with the people who say the college game is much better, and for the same reasons

I've posted many times on here, the NBA could become the best sport in the US if they change the focus from a high-scoring glorified professional wrestling-style exhibition to a lower-scoring, more team-oriented and strategy-oriented game

altheticism would still of course be hugely important, but it would have to be much more strategically utilized

To do that, all they would have to do would be a combo of making the court and/or ball and/or rim height bigger, and also of course if they can, make the officiating more clear and consistent

theres a ton of potential for pro basketball in the US but in my opinion they are wasting it with the setup they give it now

um they did that more than a couple times.

then you had boring unwatched finals like pistons/spurs

last year the nba had huge ratings, and bulls/lakers yesterday was abc's 3rd highest ratings ever for a regular season game

so the people that say nobody cares about the nba are wrong

Take a closer look at NBA ratings.

Last year's NBA Final between Dallas and Miami weren't close to what they were 15 years ago.

Last year, the best ratings night was game 6-----ABC had a 13.3/23 for that night.

Go back to say, 1997-----NBC had a 18.5/35 for Game 6 in 1997.

The NBA is losing their television audience.

And, to be honest----there really isn't that much of a difference between NBA Finals and the Final Four.

                          Connecticut-Butler had a 11.9/21 in 2011.

And, the NBA had the benefit of having Miami in the Finals. People tuned in to watch Lebron lose.

If the Heat don't make the Finals this year, the NBA numbers will drop dramatically.
