        I should of checked their rules out.

        So I guess the issue is now whether setting up in FG formation constitutes a FG attempt.

        I still maintain no because of the possibility of fakes etc and a FG attempt will result in either a successful FG or a FG miss...this had neither.

        Should I pursue this or let it go?

            if that is what their rules say then you have a case! American based books wouldn't grade it that way, but you didn't bet at an American based book and their rule clearly states a turn over on downs is graded as a turn over. So you should win the bet.

              They seem adamant it was a FG attempt which is garbage.

                You should pursue this. Lining up for a FG != FG attempt unless you actually kick the ball. And with the Bet365 rule that turnover on downs == turnover your bet should have been a winner. Even if your stake is not high you shouldn't ever let the bookie get away with things like this when they are clearly in the wrong.
