Propaganda Show: US Press Slams Russia over Georgia

That's propaganda, data. There were a small handful of Palestinians who celebrated 911 (after being shelled constantly by the IDF). But most of the Islamic world did not celebrate.

I was not talking about the Islamic world. I said "propagandists regimes such as Iran, Russia, Hamas". There are exceptions but the majority of people leaving under those regimes, and who are the subjects to propaganda, hate us.

If you refuse to accept that fact then you will keep leaving in your idealistic world and keep caring about their interests. That is the mistake the western democracies made in the late 1930s, all they wanted is to account for Germany's interesrts and not to provoke Hitler. Evidently, that did not work out.

BTW, I understand other cultures (and speak and read some Spanish) but as I was born, bred and raised in the USA I adhere to an "America First" agenda. It is what it is.

I can tell by your writing that while you are a smart guy, English is not your primary langauge. May I ask what country you are from, originally or still? I confessed my parochial pro-America bias. What's yours?

Lucky you, your background and the languages you speak make it nearly impossible for you to fully understand what propaganda is and how powerfull it can be. I speak one of the languages the real propaganda being unleashed nowadays and I know what it accomplished. When I hear an american talking about US press propaganda I have a bitter-sweet feeling and I just wish you to never taste the real one, it is disgusting.

American propaganda is far more advanced than anything Russia ever had.

Russians hardly hate Americans in general. I would guess same is true of Iran or any other country you'd like to mention. The reason you believe this is exactly the effectiveness of propaganda.

They have legitimate dislike of American "foreign" involvement. But in general US propaganda has even a strong effect internationally. --- people still argue about US well meaning intentions. They actually make morally based arguments to the establishment. --- getting people to believe that US policy has any moral qualities is a great achievement of pr

look, the bottom line is that none of these politicians including putin, bush, nor the presidents of any country give a damn about you and me. They do what politicians have been doing forever which is making war and stealing money from the people.
