I don't think you can draw too many conclusions from this first game for any players. It's gonna be sloppy for awhile.

Derek Fisher is going to get ABUSED by Rose. Fisher was a HUGE problem for the Lakers last year. CP3 almost clipped them in the first round because of this problem. As far as banging it inside, the Bulls and play Noah, Gibson, and Boozer.

In a statement, the Lakers said Bryant has a torn lunotriquetral ligament and his status was day-to-day.

According to The Los Angeles Times, the lunotriquetral ligament stabilizes two of the smaller bones on the outside of the wrist. Recovery can take from several days to several weeks depending on whether it was a partial or complete tear.

Bulls are gonna make a statement. Already took a hefty bet for Bulls +1 last night and now that it's pk I'm dropping a bit more. Wish I took it @ +3 when they had it but couldn't have predicted the Kobe being day to day/divorce thing (well I could have but you know

Anyway, Bulls will take this. I may be a bit of a homer being from Chicago but I've watched every game last year and know this team in and out. With Rip on the roster Rose doesn't have to force shots as much and will still get to the rim with his unreal athleticism. Bench mob will run train on the Lakers 2nd unit. No contest here boys, pound the Bulls and you'll have a nice Christmas Day present

Yeah because he doesn't care about nba rosters. He took this early thinking if CP3 or Dwight went to LA, it wouldn't matter anyway and the bulls would still win. Lakerman doesn't believe the game is played on the court with the rosters. He believes adding a superstar wouldn't change the outcome of the game because it's already decided by line movement.

it was a dumb pick backed by dumb reasoning. he thought kupchak was set with the roster and wouldnt make a big move. he was 100% incorrect. kupchak tried to make the biggest move(s) by acquiring paul and howard, only to be shot down by a crooked commish. the fallout was odom demanding a trade and kobe being injured. had the deals not fallen through bulls wouldve been 9+ pt dogs. so it was just plain dumb luck. kinda like picking against the packers and rodgers breaking his leg.

this ended up being a great play

the bulls are better than the lakers with both teams at full strength - with no andrew bynum in there, this should be a convincing 105-95 type win
