You might have a shot if you get every game at -104 or less but anything else they are going to get it all unless you bet both sides to a game but then again that is not gambling.

I'm sure you realize, Nicky, that a person betting into a -104/-104 market would merely by flipping a coin have a 34.37% probability of showing a profit over 500 bets.

That means that your at +300 would yield an edge for anyone taking your bet (and selecting at random) of about 34.37%* ≈ +37.47% and would imply expected bankroll growth at full-Kelly of 2.20%.

Betting into a -105/-105 line set with a coinflip, while certainly not as attractive as at -104/-104, would nevertheless imply a profit probability of 28.05%, yielding an edge of about 28.05%* ≈ +12.21% and would expected bankroll growth at full Kelly of 0.24%.

Perhaps there is something that you don't understand about life. Losing gamblers are never considered winners in anyone's book and certainly not mine. I have no respect for the people who continually make the same mistakes over and over again, especially when they openly admit to doing so. So until those people that are a part of this forum make an effort to change that, through either self education or abstainment, I absolutely will not hold respect for nor offer a great deal of cordiality to said parties, yourself included.

Almost as close as your last guess. If you could gather up enough change in your couch cushions and buy a plane ticket to the bash, you'd find out first hand.

Hi...what´s the point in giving someone Pinny closing lines, or Greek, or whatever?
A key of being succesful is line shopping, you don´t lay -104 -105 etc. always if you look for the best price...especially not if you use shops like MB, Pinny etc.

If you take an even line at MB, that is -104 -104 at Pinny, how much juice did you pay?
                                  Noone knows.

Readers would be wise to listen to LT, durito, and ganch, but like you folks I do not mind so much if sports bettors would like to remain ignorant because it is thanks to these people that others are able to profit. It is mind boggling that one would think that everyone must lose based on their very limited personal experience with betting.

I think if one really wants to win they can either learn to handicap successfully or follow someone who does. Add good discipline to the mix and a good money management strategy and you are on your way to winning.

I have lost a lot of money. I was overconfident and undisciplined. I learned important lessons, and now I am better focused and ready to win. AND I am doing it. I will grind it out, even through times of despair!
