Well that is one interpretation, I suppose.

Another however, would be that he was chasing (and conveying) RAS steam and got in at -5.5 or -6 (where the Pinny line was when he posted the play). Colour me sceptical if you will but I will go with the latter even if it means doubting someone who can generate a +EV situation in Bingo.
