USC, when I was 22 I was in a dead end job and fvcking off @ a community college.

Now I'm 35 and I made 85K a year with a phenomenal pension for retirement.

Hang in there kid you'll be fine.

Yeah I guess making $9 and hour at taco bell is better than making $30 an hour being a cop and actually doing something with your life

Dude I am in a similar position as you. I am 21, live with my parents, have a drug and gambling addiction, have no girlfriend, and have absolutely no clue what to do. And I really don't like the summer. makes me blue.

I like to play the guitar though and would love to be a successful musician. music is such a powerful tool, it's the purest and most powerful form of expression in my opinion. Only thing is I'm not that great, and people expect you to be things you don't want to be. So much pressure from parents and elders to do things like get a degree and do something you never really wanted to do. It seems like most people don't really know where they are going and the ones that think they know everything are just full of shit. so anyways how do we feel content with our lives?

              Pure

Being 21 and living w/ your parents is no biggie dude. I was lost till I was 29 in terms of what I wanted to do with my life.

But the drug addiction should be priority one if you're looking to turn things around. Tough to map out your life when things are cloudy.
