    pure luck that tom brady got hurt in the first gm of the season or the jets go 0-2 against the pats, not 1-1, also pure luck to get the fumble ret for td vs the bills with less than two mins to play when bills backup qb losman makes a bonehead play, this is a 7-8 team masquerading as a 9-6 team and even if they beat the dolphins on sunday they will get excused from the playoffs in the first gm. the jets and favre the savior are not shit

      Regarding the postmortem analysis of Favre versus Pennington: Before the season, I'd have rated Favre ahead of Pennington for 2008. But after seeing how the season has gone, I'd have them close to equal at this point. Basically, I'll tie my Favre versus Pennington in 2008 opinion to the game coming up this weekend. Obviously the Jets thought Favre was a major upgrade over Pennington before the 2008 season. I wonder how much they regret that decision now, if at all.
