    signing up for first sportsbook
I've seen the reviews.. what are some tips on starting an account, what books, and what are the best ways to make deposits and get payouts.. debit/creditt cards seem like a scam and the money e-wallet services seem sketchy too... what are some serious sports bettors doing out there that has been working for them... what is your experience with all this?

    thanks -

well I am from europe so Im not the best to give you advise, hopefully a US citizen can help you out more but from my understanding:

if you dont want to use cr. cards or e-wallets, most people use *M*G* or *W*U* to send money to books as a safe alternative

for US players id say the safest book to play at is bookmaker, but all books that are rated A on sbr are more or less equally safe

out of US serving books 5dimes hast the most betting options and offers reduced juice, but be warned that they have been having some payout issues lately and you might want to hold off playing with them until they have their business sorted out

also note that the US government has been targeting US books the last few months and they have even confiscated player funds, so there is an element of risk in sending money offshore, although I am confident that A rated books will honor your balance whatever the circumstances

I'd be very careful opening an account if I were American.

Your government has this strange obsession with regulation it's citizens personal habits.

Ron Paul summed it up better than I can.

"So often people are annoyed when I talk about personal liberty, saying, "well someone might use their personal liberty to practice a habit I can't endorse." Legalizing people to make freedom of choices, as long as it doesn't hurt other people is not an endorsement. If you study something, because of the first amendment, doesn't mean we endorse those things. If we can allow individuals to pick and choose their intellectual studies (education), and spiritual studies (religious affiliation), why is we have gotten to a point that we are obsessed with regulating peoples personal habits? We have now accepted the notion that governments can protect us from ourselves. It's a careless attitude toward civil liberties."
