    Tom Glavine.

everybody knows he was one of best pitchers in the 90's.

was also drafted by LA Kings in 4th round in 1984.

probably could have had successful career in hockey.

#2.) Jackie Robinson: Baseball, Football, Track, Basketball

Known best for breaking baseball's color barrier, it's easy to forget that Robinson was also an extraordinary and versatile athlete. At UCLA, he set the NCAA record for punt returns, won the 1940 NCAA long jump (then called the "running broad jump") and twice led the Pacific Coast Conference in scoring. Oddly enough, he batted .097 in college but decided to focus on baseball professionally. Good choice. A six-time All-Star second baseman and the 1947 NL MVP, Robinson became a first-ballot Hall of Famer in 1962. His number 42 was retired by Major League Baseball across all teams in 1997 to honor the 50th anniversary of his first major league game.

        #1.) Jim Thorpe: Football, Track
Jacobus Franciscus Thorpe was far and away the greatest athlete of his day. He played three sports professionally but excelled most at football, leading tiny Carlisle Institute to a national championship and starring for the Canton Bulldogs as a halfback, defensive back and kicker. A member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame, he acheived his greatest fame by winning gold medals in the pentathlon and decathlon at the 1912 Olympics. Legend has it that King Gustav V of Sweden told him during the closing ceremonies, "You, sir, are the greatest athlete in the world," to which Thorpe replied, "Thanks, King."
