    Top 10 two sport athletes
    Michael Jordan on anyone's list?

    #10. Jackie Joyner-Kersee: Basketball, Track

Joyner-Kersee is widely considered the greatest female athlete of the 20th century. She showed that ability on the basketball court, scoring over 1,000 points for UCLA, but she's best known for her feats on the world stage in track and field. She competed in four Summer Olympics (1984, '88, '92 and '96), winning three gold medals and a silver in the heptathlon. She also won a gold and three bronzes in the long jump. She still holds the world record in the heptathlon and owns the top six scores of all time.

Not many people know that Aingle played for the Jays back in 1981.

I used to watch him play baseball at Exhibition Stadium back in the day, as a kid I worked as a vendor selling peanuts at the games. Great fun, good times, good old days.

                #9.) Charlie Ward: Football, Basketball

As a quarterback, Ward ran Florida State's shotgun offense to near-perfection in 1993, completing nearly 70 percent of his passes while totaling 3,371 yards of offense as a passer and runner. He led the Seminoles to their first national championship and won the Heisman Trophy, then turned pro ... in basketball. Ward was picked in the first round by the New York Knicks and ended up playing 11 seasons in the NBA. Though he never was a star, he was known as a good 3-point shooter and leader, and helped the Knicks reach the 1999 NBA Finals.

Jeff Wilson belongs somewhere after Bo and somewhere before Charlie Ward.

Number one has to be Bo Jackson. It's a shame he got injured or Bo could have been a hall of Ffamer in both baseball and football.

                          8.) Bob Hayes: Football, Track

"Bullet Bob" was the world's fastest human in the 1960s, setting world records in a variety of sprints. He won gold medals in the 100-meter dash and 4x100 relay at the 1964 Olympics. Then, despite having no football experience, he joined the Dallas Cowboys and led the NFL in receiving touchdowns his first two years. Since no single player could keep up with him, Hayes is credited with the rise of zone defenses. Maybe because of that, no track star has had the same success in the NFL since he retired in 1975.

Bo was an all-star in baseball and a pro-bowler in football. I still remember when he crushed that HR at the All-star game in Anaheim.

He hit a homerun and scored a touchdown in the same week. The only player ever to do that.

                                          #7.) Shaun White: Snowboarding, Skateboarding

If you haven't heard of White, you're probably over 30 and powerfully uncool. The redhead known as "The Flying Tomato" has dominated the sport of snowboarding for years, winning 14 winter X Games medals (nine gold). He's also one of the top professional skateboarders and, at the age of 21, already a legend for a generation of kids and young adults who prefer "alternative" sports heroes.

                                                #6.) Deion Sanders: Football, Baseball

"Neon Deion" was flashy, brash and cocky ... but usually backed it up. He finished his 14-year NFL career as one of the best cornerbacks and return men of all time. He totaled 52 interceptions, returning nine of them for touchdowns, and also scored nine TDs as a punt and kick returner. Baseball didn't come as easily to Sanders, but he forged out a nice nine-year career with four MLB teams, finishing with a .263 average and 186 steals. On one occasion at Florida State, he played the first game of a baseball doubleheader, ran a leg of a 4x100 relay, then returned to play another baseball game.

You left out actor Chuck Connors from The Rifleman who played for both the Lakers and Dodgers I believe?I'm not saying he had a glamorous career but that he made a couple pro teams in different sports and was a notable actor in a tv series.I'll bet there aren't too many people that hit that trifecta?

In an era when athletic ability wasn't equated with femininity, this Babe didn't care. She excelled in every sport she tried, including basketball, softball and bowling. But she dominated track and field, setting five world records in one afternoon at the 1932 AAU Championships (the de facto U.S. Olympic Trials). Limited to three events in the Olympics that year, she won all of them (javelin, hurdles and high jump). Then, after taking up golf, she became the world's leading player in the 1940s and early '50s. She remains the only woman ever to make the cut at a PGA tournament, accomplishing the feat three times.

Though most of his marks have been broken, he is widely considered the best running back of all time. And by the way, he's also "widely considered to be the greatest lacrosse player ever," according to the National Lacrosse Hall of Fame. A first-team All-American in both sports at Syracuse, he ran track and played basketball for the Orangemen as well.

The truth is that Vincent Edward "Bo" Jackson was tremendous at two sports. As a running back, he won the Heisman Trophy at Auburn and rushed for 2,782 yards and 16 touchdowns in four seasons with the Los Angeles Raiders, highlighted by a 221-yard performance vs. the Seahawks on Monday Night Football. As an outfielder, he played eight major-league seasons, mostly with the Royals, and finished with 141 homers and 451 RBIs. The only athlete to be named an All-Star in two sports, a serious hip injury cut short his professional career.

There is alot of people that were great at 2 or more sports, but chose to excel in just one on a professional level.

He was a mediocre baseball player, just a base stealer basically. In football i won't deny he could make QB's question throwing to someone, he could read a throw and was fast to react and could get some deflection or INT's, but he couldn't tackle for crap. He was fast and quick, but soft.
