Last response here then I gotta run, but why would I want to confirm that I'm posting a 'half truth?' There will still be haters and people who are lying so why does it matter? Also, it is a personal statement. Do I really want everyone here reading it? Would you?

I have no desire to risk my life for financial gain.

Kicking in a door in the middle east just isn't an accomplishment I value or crave. Sorry. Glad you didn't die over there. But don't think you are more accomplished than someone else who doesn't need the money and doesn't have to risk their lives for something they don't believe in.

I didn't pay a dime for my undergraduate degree b/c my exceptional ACT score gave me a free ride. I actually got paid in excess scholarships to go to school by my University. When you score a 32 on the ACT, state colleges really want you there and will pay you to go. It isn't fair to call me not as accomplished because I'm smarter than you and scored better on standardized tests and therefore didn't have to go be a jarhead to get money for school.

Sorry bro. I wouldn't join the military for anything. I'd rather use my intelligence in life. Best of luck to you in your future endeavors.

There were other better ways for you to pay yourself through school man. You didn't HAVE to join the military to do that.

A Personal statement is an essay that you include with your LSAT scores when applying to Law Schools.. My girl wrote about some economic issues and how obama will effect them or some borning shittt like that.. its not a narrative about you personally..

So now no need for a half truth if you don't even know what a personal statement is.. The personal statement is a n essay they judge your writing skills on. You pick a topic and write about it.. usually about law or something about law..

No hawley, you don't understand, when you get PAID to go to College, you don't have a certain standard that you have to keep up with for you to still keep that scholarship (or job in his case, since he was paid to go to college).

Nah... it is a financial decision. I think it is something I would enjoy doing and I think it is something I can do well enough to make a nice living.
