I avoided her at work like the plague. There were work gatherings I went to frequently but stopped going after that because she'd be there. On my last day I left without saying bye to her. I still have nightmares.

You have to be 99% sure a co-worker likes you before you put the moves on. Otherwise you will just embarrass yourself, like she did.
