Yeah ok but look at Date-Krumm and Craybas. They're both ancient yet they can still manage surprises. Hell, Krummy almost took out Venus this year at Wimbledon and she's 41. This kid's favourite surface is clay... even including the ITF, he's only ever played those 3 matches on indoor hard that I mentioned earlier. I just think with this draw the organisers are being cute. Maybe I've just been betting tennis for too long and have become cynical now but seeing as he's retiring for good after this, it just seems really coincidental considering the quality of the other people he could've faced in the first round.
