If I Had $50,000 I would Bet It Tomorrow On This Tennis Match
Erste Bank Open - ATP Vienna

    12:35PM EST

    Thomas Muster +202 v Dominic Thiem -232

How the fuk is Thomas Muster still fukkin playing??

He is old and washed up unless this is a different guy

Problem is Pinnacle has highest max bet on this match at $2000 and usa players not allowed
Betfair I am sure you might be able to get more down but again no usa players allowed

So no bet because lucky to find a book to take $200 on this match

Dominic Thiem -232 for $50,000 of course air bet

JJ is usually really strong on spot bets like these

          I mean like 90%

He would post them more often but Walker doesn't like it

Now I must root for Muster. #1, you NEVER bet big on tennis, NEVER. #2, this is Muster's swan song in his home country against a YOUNG fellow countryman ... the likelihood of a fix .... something you need to seriously consider so that the home crowd gets something to cheer for. #3, there is very little to gauge Thiem on ... backing a nobody at high chalk, seriously stupid even if he does win.

It is the same Thomas Muster and he is 44 years old.
His opponent is only 18 and has never won a match at this level.

I wouldn't touch this match, personally.

44 for tennis is comparable to 60 in baseball and maybe like 50 for nfl

I cannot get bet down, no books offer this that I play at

jj you're out of your f'n mind. Kid has only played 3 matches on indoor hard in his career... 0-3. You're telling people to lay that chalk against Muster at home in his last tournament???? Do you really think this was a random draw with 2 countrymen up against each other?

Out of all the matches today, there are much better ones to lay the chalk on. At least tell people to take the handicap and protect their cash. Common now pal.

It was really difficult to keep up with the questions and PMs as it was because of the time difference but when I started working here, it just became that much harder. People would ask me stuff and their posts and PMs would get buried amongst work things that had to take precedence. I still hang around the tennis forum... but this is a really dud time of year for the sport with the season winding down so I'm not really betting. Maybe today though.

But in a situation like this where you have a guy playing the last tournament of his career and it happens to be at home, and he happens to be playing a countryman who is not only a teenybopper but has never won on the surface, it's the kind of match that's just too ugly to bother with unless you take the dog. Or at least the handicap.
