Yes, and it will probably go to someone who needs both desperately (sometimes these tournaments have more drama than the big ones, kinda like Q school)

Tiger from the age of 17-19 played in 7 PGA events and missed every cut with a scoring average aound 75.

Most players could care less and those on the LPGA tour are jealous of her endorsements so what do you expect them to say.

Annika was critical and she shot 72 in her tourney today.

How prey tell, is the US Open (full of qualifiers with no chance), the British Open (full of qualifiers with no chance), and the PGA (full of PGA teaching pros with no chance) better fields.

Please list the other 12 fields that are better.

I'm done here. This board is full of some of the dumbest mother ****ers in the world. Thankfully they keep the $$ flowing in.

My friend has won a nationwide event and a european pga event on sponsors exemptions in the last 4 years.

Not, that I was the one making that point, I wasn't.

I was talking about someone who would be cosidered 'lesser known.' World ranked 1000 could win this.

Look at the size of the fields you dumbass , take away all the amatuers from the field , the past champions and the guys from the asian tours and see how many players are left in the Masters field. Up until this year some winners on the PGA tour were not in the field the past years.

Please let me know who's life changing spot was taken here.

A full field is 144 players and only 132 are playing so there was room for at least 12 more players. Only 257 players have won money on the tour this year and the 257th player is in the field. There are also 26 other players in the field that have no earnings at all. So I really find it hard to believe she is taking away from anyone this week.

We could argue until doomsday, you're not going to change my view. Women don't belong in mens events on the PGA tour but if they must do it, how about they respect the womens tour and do it in a week when the women aren't playing for a major. Also, if they must do it I'd rather see a spot go to the worlds number 1 just to see the strength of the womens tour rather than a wannabee who isn't very good.

If she is not any good how did she get 9 top 10's in the womens majors already.

She did not ask for the spot anyway they asked her numerous times.

I was just pointing out the false info you and Durito keep giving.

this is the weakest field in the history of golf -- every alternate got in. you are right, she took no one's place.

nevertheless I passed this little tidbit around and the general consensus is that is it the dumbest thing ever said by anyone ever.

nice 80 for wie today. she still be jesper's caddie though.

Using your logic, Sam Snead should still be playing because of his record. You were asked to post her last 18 months results, you didn't and then gave the wrist excuse. Using your same logic, is David Duval a good player?

I'm not saying every alternate didn't get in I'm saying that spot could have been given to a club pro.....a man, she doesnt belong there, as is evidenced by her 9 over par, miss-the-cut effort in what you yourself describe as a weak field poker.

don't get me wrong, michele wie has the talent to be the best female player in the world. i think she will win majors. of course, had she been brought along properly she'd have already won many. she's never learned how to win at any level.

i just think she needs to grow up and perhaps learn to sign a scorecard, before teeing it up in mens events.

Can you imagine the uproar if someone like kenny perry decided to play lpga because it was easier, it would never happen, I dont see how this benefits anyone, including Wie herself. How must she be feeling, she knew it was a weak field and she failed, not gonna do anything for confidence levels.
