I'll admit that Jeter is overrated but he is by no means done. He can still get the timely hits. He is better than a majority of shortstops in baseball.

jeters getting older, they'll probably move him to 1B in 2-3 years.. when hes closer to 40.. even though 1b is usually a power position

i am not arguing bay area shortstops are good. im not a homer. my teams are all the dallas teams
i enjoy watching good players and jeter is not close to elite anymore

Game on the line in the 9th, a smile comes across my face if Jeter is stepping to the plate. That's all, as a Yankee fan, I need ...

Every team would love to add Wang to their pitching staff. He is one of the most consistent pitchers in the game. And the Yankee offense will heat up. Not having Matsui and Posada is a slight setback. But look at yesterday's game. I think Nady will be good. However, he will probably struggle until he gets used to the new atmosphere. That's why I am benching him on my fantasy team for next week.

ARod makes them better during the regular season and all but destroys them in the playoffs ... this makes him worthless in a Yankee fan's eyes. He'd be valuable to teams where making the playoffs is still an accomplishment, however ...

(having said that, ARod hit the ball well tonight ... 2 of his shots would have been HR's in Yankee Stadium and the liner with the bases loaded was hitting into bad luck. Have to be fair to the guy even though I wish he wasn't on the team ...)

when the guy shows up when it matters, i will be shocked
