Take it on the chin, at least they didn't throw you out. To behonest, I dont know the drill for the trip either, I would imagine they have booked a block of rooms and at the last minute they will forward names to the hotel because a lot of people will probably back out, too much work to firm things up until last minute, bottom line is, your room is there.

i played. finished 33rd or something. i was doing decent... long story short.. i had 150% of my attention on the cubbies RL (had 2k on it). i was nervous as shit. 6-3 bases loaded 2 outs... anyway.. i got muscled by rake.. guy had 20k in chips (chip leader) i had about 6-7k.. bluffed at a pot.. he called with high card... did it again to me 20 minutes later.. when i pushed all in.. he called with bottom pair... unreal.. i mean he could afford to call, but both were terrible. imo
