There wasn't that much he could do today, a QB is only as good as his off. line...and i really don't like the guy much.

Flacco is an average starting QB, he may win you a few games with his arm but his main job is to not lose games and let the running game and defense do their jobs. Watching the game tonight, their OLine and blitz pick up was plain bad and their offensive play calling was worse. The entire Raven organization should be ashamed of themselves and be forced to apologize for their ineptitude on national television. The NFL should be ashamed as well for the level of play they are scheduling for national prime time television, even the officiating was downright horrid. Three overturned calls in the first half and what was with that last whistle on the kick off.Comment -
Flacco is an up and down QB. His QB rating this year is terrible, but he has progressed every year treadmousdly to the point last year he had a 99 qb rating 25 tds 10 ints.
As I posted in other threads, the problem is much deeper then Flacco. The playing calling, running backs, o-line, and WR's did shit tonight for him. Go back and watch every play, see how his offensive line did, go watch every play and watch how sorry his wr's are. And you don't need to watch anything to see how bad they ran the ball tonight, not to mention the play calling tonight giving the ball to Rice a total of three times (that actually meant something, not counting the one at the end of the semester where he was running the clock)
Its is very easy just to blame Flacco after this loss, because he is the QB. He did miss some passes tonight no doubt, he is not brady. But even brady would of found it difficult tonight with the way the people around him played.Comment -
