Flacco is a below average QB. He gets way more credit than he should because the Ravens D carries their team. Yes Flacco had a great week against the Steelers in week 1. But how many games have he played against the Steelers where he had a great game? He is very very mediocre, just like Matt Ryan.

Ryan Fitzpatrick is better than Flacco and Ryan. He does more with a team that has no weapons versus QBS like Flacco, Ryan and Sanchez who have plenty of weapons.

Anybody who rips Joe Flacco is completely ignorant to the QB position. I dont want anyone posting stats, the guys is one of the most fundamentally sound QBs and has a deep ball Sanchez dreams about. If Flacco had LT and Santonio Holmes this thread would not exist.

Honestly, none of these young QB's have really taken that big step to elite status. I'm talking about Sanchez, Ryan, Flacco, Freeman. I think when all is said and done, 10 years from now, they will be looked back as good QB's, but nothing special.

Agreed, other than Boldin and Rice, who do they have. No more Todd Heap, no more Derrick Mason, no TJ Housh (not that he was really any good when he was there).

They are really missing Lee Evans right now. I think the Ravens were really hoping that Evans would open up the passing game for Flacco, but he just hasn't been healthy.

You are obviously high. Check down joe holds onto the ball forever and his pocket awareness/feel sucks and hasn't improved. Ravens will always be a defensive team first, and like Steve Young said, he's waiting for Flacco to lead this team and put it on his shoulders, don't expect that to happen anytime soon.
