I served in the military and also did a tour in Iraq right after the start of the war...

First off I can tell you that is very common for individuals who've been there (or any other combat zone for that matter) to be liberal in their descriptions of their conditions and activities over there... On the other hand one only has to look how the Abu Ghraib, and other similar situations, were released the media to realize that for every story that makes the news there are easily ten similar situations that the public is never going to hear about...

GW Bush is the worst US President to date. He hasn't done anything significant for the American people other than create more problems for the next guy to clean up just because Saddam said he was going to "kill his daddy".

I pretty sure that if Bushed Senior finished the job the 1st time, their wouldn't be the US cole attack, September 11 or 4,000 and counting US casualties. Having a base in Baghdad during the early 90's would of been a great deterrent to all of these Jihad sociopaths.

I wish all the men and women of the armed forces the best of luck. Regardless of why they are there or who the president is. These soldiers are our co-workers, neighbors, brothers, sisters, fathers, daughters, sons. They deserve respect. Kick some ass. Unless your in the most dangerous place in the world right now probably hard to understand......I would be quick on the trigger too.

                Not true.

We operate under the motto "Shoot first, answer questions later". It has worked to bring stability in the region.
Contradicting what you just said are we.......

War? The insurgents are using IED's to kill my neighbor and your cousin. This is the most cowardly way to attack a warrior.
I don't have any cousins over there. Sorry about your neighbor. I got out of the Corps because I was opposed to this BS.

Cowardly? Maybe, but look back to around 1776+ and how our revolutionaries fought the British.......according to the times that was cowardly.

Why are you calling our American heroes cowardly?

I didn't want the Iraq War. I wanted (and asked to go but was denied) to get Osama/Al Qaeda. I didn't want the Iraq War, which has cost thousands of lives, and many more thousands in injuries, both physical and mental.

Why do you hate American lives?

He wan't calling americans cowardly. Anyway if you're interested in this crap you have to get your information from widely varied sources. I use a cross-reference of international and domestic news sources to filter some of the bias. It works pretty well and it's always interesting to see a different perspective.
