#49Too bad points get reset to zero when going PRO. See, SBR wasn't born yesterday pal. If you think for one second they're gonna let you be a non-pro while racking up points and not contributing one bit to depositing $200 into an account simply to get your free Ipad and then withdraw the money the next day, you're an idiot. What you're attempting to do is exploit SBR and you think you've outsmarted them.
It's this type of shit that will end up putting a halt to a good thing. Everyone here including John knows you have no intentions on leaving your $200 in an SBR affiliated book any longer that it takes to get that Ipad in your hands. Hell you probably had to go to payday loans just to get the money. If you were going to leave that money in a book, it would have already been there. Now take a hike, pal.
Bill: No, your points dont get reset when you go pro.Comment -

#50Sounds simple enough but I am careful about who I play with offshore and now that my pro status expired I'm not gonna deposit with one of these shit books just to get an extra 6 pts a day and the privledge of using the sbr store. I am already a member of most of the sbr sponsored books and the few left i'm not with I am smart enough to stay clear of.Comment -

I also was not aware of this and don't think that's right at all. I don't want to play anywhere else than 5dimes. I trust them paying out and with everything else. The point of becoming a pro, from what i thought was to fund a sponsor account regardless. Ive put over $200 into my 5 dimes account.
I also am not going to make another account and fund another sportsbook just to get Pro status. There has to be a way around this, and i hop that SBR will make it better.Comment -

#59i don't understand what is so hard to understand about renewing pro membership. so many threads about it. it is not that complicated to understand . what is most difficult about the process i would imagine is degens getting together the 200 bucks to become pro.Comment -

#62its funny how the rules are quite clear and simple to follow
yet sbr pros, which pride themselves for being the cream of the crop on this forum, seem to be too dumb to understand them, let alone follow themComment -

#65Unfortunately a book can't pay $400 per yr for life. They and Draftstreet and Fanduel are expecting a new player to try them out and get good word of mouth. SBRforum is making it extra easy for our first PROs by letting them renew without having to meet the same requirements as everyone else. If your renewal just expired, shoot us a note and we'll see what we can do.
Thanks, Bill. Note sent to both you and Lou.Comment -
