so sbr gets you to renew your SBR Pro status. Receives the credit then doesn't approve the applications. Interesting.

No reason to go pro since they eliminated sportsbook cash for US punters

If I want a free ipad I'll bet $500 on a game and win rather than have to get 10,000 points or however much it is

Go through the 3 requirements and tell us which one you didnt meet. if your answer is none, we'll be sure to correct our error.

If you let your renewal expire, no, you can't renew now w/ that acct.

Sounds simple enough. Although I wasn't aware that if the renewal expired we couldn't use the same account. Thanks for clearing that up.

Yea thats what is meant by "expired". Then it says new account which is required to go pro like every non-pro acct

It is a fact. I checked with Lou earlier this week and he told me as long as I don't let my Pro Status expire I can use the same book. But if it expires I have to use a new one.

I'm not Bill but I can clarify: Yes you can use the same book to renew as long as you don't let your membership expire. If it expires you're no longer a Pro and you fall under the same application requirements as someone who just joined the forum yesterday for example.

no, if you are renewing you are fine with the book you started with as long as you have the 200 in there when your renewal app is submitted.

Bill, as a 3-year member of the forum, I must say this is a horrible rule. I re-upped with my book just to gain pro status and support SBR, but because I expired a week, I can re-use the same book????? I thought the object was to promote offshore wagering. I am not looking for any free ride here. I am not one of those folks who are trying to play in the contests and win freeplays (which are no longer available) as my only means of betting.

This is a travesty, and I absolutely will not make another deposit just to be a pro and play in BTP when I already did. I humbly ask that this rule be reviewed, and changed. If not, I understand -- but you can count me out for any more contributions with SBR as a benefactor.

When my time comes, I'm planning on renewing before I expire.

That being said, the rule doesn't make any sense to me, so maybe one of the admins can explain it. If we're already under SBR in the book we're using and you guys are earning commission off of that account, why does it make a difference if our Pro status expires or not? The benefits of the Pro program would be lost during the gap period, and the intended two-way benefits would continue once the requirements are met. Forcing a new account at a new book just doesn't add up.
