In case anyone is interested: I have about 25 pages of stats, trends, angles, practice info, bowl history, coaching records, ticket sales info & anything else that I can find on these bowl match ups and just about everything I've got on the Mich-VTech match up points to a Michigan blow out. I went ahead and put 3 units on it at -2.5 but if I can be up enough + units, I may go ahead and make it a 5 unit play. It would easily be my biggest bowl play. If something happens or I find something contrary to playing Mich then I can probably buy some VT back at +3 later as I expect it will get there.

I'm not going to do a long write up but I'm sticking with Michigan -2.5 for 3 units. You can call it square but I'm taking what I feel is a much better team coming in with more momentum. Of all the BCS games this year, two schools haven’t sold out their ticket allotment this year and they’re not even close. These schools are Virginia Tech and West Virginia. I'm not sure VT fans and players are very excited about losing their conference. They also went to a BCS game last year. On the other hand is Michigan who clearly exceeded expectations. In any other year, Brady Hoke would be coach of the year. His turn around of the defense is one of the most amazing coaching jobs I have ever seen and with so much time to prepare I expect this defense to play very well vs VT. Michigan played a tougher schedule. The ACC is 2-11 in BCS bowls. The difference in this game will be Denard Robinson using his feet and completing big passes after the safeties are playing closer to the line of scrimmage. GL

Beamer is 8-10 in bowls so he's not a big a deal as people are making him out to be. They are down to their third string kicker (0 for 2) too so that will help us. To me the big difference is Brady Hoke at preparing his team.

Seer - its still early lets hope for the best. A lot of our games have had big opposition injuries and our cover still got screwed- at this point, even if we had a 21 point cushion going into the 4th quarter I would not relax.

if Michigan would have scored a TD there, I might have gone for a middle with VT 2nd half.
