Quite true. I have heard many horror stories about things missing in houses. You need one with a solid reputation. they are hard to find.

The problem is they never steal stuff that is obvious. My friend went to get the pocket watch his decessed father gave him and it was gone. It could have been anytime in the last year that it was stolen. It's not like you come home and the flat screen is gone. You'll notice that right away.

i think since i can only afford a 1 BR apartment, i don't need a maid, but i do have friends that come over and feel they have to clean up for me, i don't know why, i not that messy.

i got an uncle who lives outside Richmond VA. and he has a cleaning service, has a bunch of Koreans working for him, he actually tried to get my other uncle to marry one of his best employees so she could get a green card or some shit like that.

Very true.....When we were younger, my best friend had a maid and a lot of stuff went missing.........Now we have cameras these days for this sort of thing.

it is impossible to find one for me. everytime i call up for one, they ask me if i live with a woman, and when i say i live alone, they say, sorry sir, i dont come to any house with a man alone, must have a woman there. they get nervous..

i used to have a filipina come over every 2 weeks, but i caught her stealing money in my desk. i tested her and left 500 cash, and when i went to check as she was leaving, it was not there. i always do this to people to test them. i took it back and told her if she dont leave, i will call police. since then, i dont trust any woman in my house, UNLESS i make sure i have no valuables around.

i dont call agencies, i call private, from the paper. usually it's a young girl lookign to make extra cash, or a student, and they charge like 12 an hr.. they never come when they find out i live alone. they always refuse me.

accu, that's where i always look, at good ol craig.. but they get nervous when they hear a guy's voice who lives alone. i dont want to pay 100 for 4 hrs at an agency.. plus, i dont have that much to be done. just dishes and some laundry. my apt is pretty spotless. i pick up after myself. i just need someone for 3 hrs to come and do laundry and dishes and give them 36 bucks and they leave. at an agency, that costs me 100 bucks..

we grow irise,and daylilies. i hybrnize those plants.my sister,and her friend handle the bedding plants,and hanging baskets .we make good money,but its hard work.i do know farmers that are frinds with my dad ,that grows the smoking kind of plants.
