He is essentially betting stale lines there and betting the other side of the game at another book, or at an offshore book, locking in a profit no matter which side of a bet wins. For example, let's say there is a colts/titans game, Caesars has the Colts ML at +105 when the rest of the gambling world just moved the line to Colts -105...you bet $6000 to win $6300 at Caesars, then you go bet titans +105, 'the real line,' at an offshore book, also $6000 to win $6300.

So no matter which team wins the game, you make $300 either way (since you will win 6300 at one book and lose 6000 at the other).

Honestly, I just scalp them off, so I have no idea. I try to put in as much action as I can and usually get 5 to 15c scalps. Been doing this for about 3 years, maybe 20 trips, with about 8 to 10k action per day. I've been shown the door at the Venetian as well. Not quit a ban, but 500 limits. Going to try MGM and Wynn next.

You are correct about the Rio. I am guilty of betting steam only at their books, so don't really blame them for banning me from betting there. You can probably verify that I did get the ban that originated from Paris hotel yesterday, since I hear it doesn't happen all that often. I'm certain that the reason is for chasing steam and they eventually got tired of it.

This doesn't happen in Vegas. No one gives a shit about other properties you attention whore. I got banned at the Gold Coast and went across town to another Coast property (Suncoast) and got a comp dinner and continued betting. True Las Vegas bettors know this to be true.

I have been doing the same thing in MLB for 3 weeks...2 weeks at Hilton and last week at Caesar's...put up 9.2k on Minnesota at Caesar's and 4.5 at harrah's without any problem (maybe b/c those games lost in Vegas).
