Bill, Justin or anyone... What is "Money Method"?
    BetWay:
    Quote:
You have been positively identified as a participant of the "Money Method" scheme and therefore we have locked your account, cancelled all your bets and returned your initial deposit to your eWallet account. We will keep your account locked and will lock any future accounts you register."
Is this a known term? I'm not familiar with it. What did the player do to get his winnings confiscated?

John, the "money method" is basically wagering to win money rather than lose it

Tookadvantage of a bonus with no intention of continuing to play with the book. Sort of like opening a checking account with a bank for the 100 dollars and then withdrawing after the waiting period. Debatable as to whether the "moneymethod" is good faith. I would tend to side with the player as long as they followed the terms of the agreement.

And from your own site according to Bill Dozer

BetWay continues to confiscate winnings; SBR lowers rating to D
Betway offers free-plays as an incentive for bettors to deposit. After the players have met the wagering requirements and request a payout the sportsbook confiscates winnings and sends back the deposit. A losing player never realizes he never had the chance to win the house's money. The sportsbook cites bonus hunting and taking advantage of the sportsbook's offers without intending to gamble further. Betway attempts to brand this type of play as the "money method."

The "money method" is the term Betway made up or rebranded from a bonus scalping site. They are basically saying that they believe the player has scalped out his bonus.

They could've chosen a more professional term than "money method".

Most books are recreational and will get beat by the handful of pro books on the other end. I can see Betway or any book managing it in a way that allows them to avoid these players.

What they are doing here is saying the wagering style you used some voids your winnings retroactively. Silly. Same thing as saying it was sharp action so it doesn't count.

I think they care when they have to pay....it f'ed up on the books part but results in all of us having bonus requirements which are borderline ridiculous.

That is why you should not join a book for their bonuses.
