#3This argument will go on for year and decades......however if Obama can't correct Bush's issues then why give him 4 more years? He extended the Bush tax cuts. He spent $800 billion on stimulus that was a joke. He has continued Bush's wars of aggression and this failed foreign policy of the last 60 years.
What exactly has he done any differently than Bush other pass an unconstitutional healthcare bill that puts even more burden on the economy?Comment -

plus obama has halted the war in iraq by pulling out all the combat troops with complete pullout in dec. so obama has accomplished what bush couldnt in 7 years in just under 3.
as for afghanistan, he never opposed it as far as I know. in fact, his campaign promise was to send more troops there since they actually had connections to al qaeda and even flaunted it.Comment -

Bush gets more blame by 20 pts

so yes, we can keep saying "blame bush"

Obama is a lock to win.
seems like the neocons are the only ones surprised by this. it's difficult for them to admit bush was a colossal failure cause that would mean they are failures too since they put him in charge.
but bush is 100% at fault for our current crisis...
1. bush ignored 9/11 warnings....... a month prior to 9/11 he was sent an urgent presidential memo warning of an imminent attack. it specifically warned of hijackings by al qaeda members in the us, use of bombs and surveillance of buildings in nyc. so he was basically told where and how. so did bush act? nope, he went golfing and spent the next month on vacation! maybe it was a working vacation? nope, he didn't even discuss the threat with anyone!!!!!!
not surprising even the republican members of the 911 commission found that bush had the proverbial blue print to al qaeda's plans and did nothing.

2. bush caused the subprime mortgage meltdown......... bush passed the "american dream downpayment act of 2003" which practically gave homes to the poor with bad credit like candy on halloween. not surprising since his largest political donor at the time happened to be the largest subprime lender in the us. bush also removed anti-predatory lending laws which helped subprime lenders skirt any lending laws and prosecution.
2b. bush caused the subprime mortgage meltdown..... bush and sec deregulated banking laws in 2004 which allowed the top 5 us investment banks to put all their eggs in the subprime basket at the tune of $4 trillion in debt. they collapsed under this mountain of debt which caused the meltdown.
3. bush & cheney manipulated gas prices...... in 2002, bush & cheney purchased 50 million barrels of oil from private refineries which caused the price of barrel of oil to nearly double in price. then invaded iraq which put another 1.3 million barrels of oil per day offline.
gas prices reached $5/gal in some areas which cost an avg driver over $3000 in additional gas costs per year.
4. bush invaded iraq on fabricated lies..... the same lies cia warned bush was non-trustworthy and not to use in his speeches, a full year prior to his war speech!!!!!! bush used the devastation of 9/11 to invade iraq when he had told his biographer 3 years earlier that he intended to invade if he became president.
5. bush lost over 4 million jobs in 1 year..... from 2007-8.
6. us dollar lost 50% of its value under bush.
7. bush raided the social security funds in the tune of $1.3 trillion to pay for his war.
8. bush spied on his own citizens, trampling all over the us constitution.
9. bush & cheney orchestrated a $7 billion war contract to cheney's haliburton, using the law to bypass the bidding process and flat out lying and telling their competitors that no war was coming. even though they had been in negotiations with haliburton for a month!!!!!!!! a bidding process would have saved tax payers billions.
10. bush sat there like a coked up zombie when told america was under attack on 9/11. what a dumbfuk!
so is it any wonder bush received the lowest approval rating of any president in the last 70 years??????

#24^^ hey crustyretard, please explain where it said the memo was "urgent". It was part of his daily briefing, that he and every other president has had every single day, no matter where they are... how is that "urgent"?
I've already explained the surveillance of NYC thing to you, but you just don't listen. The FBI had already investigated it, and found it was 2 tourists taking pictures. You're right though, how didn't retard Bush stop it

Everything besides that opinion poll (with which Obama is catching up quickly) is bullsh1t propaganda or merely opinions...could make a list of the same just as long for the current admin but what's the point?
Bush had his faults and made mistakes as do all Presidents, but why the hell are we even talking about him? Couldn't possibly be to deflect attention from the sorry a$$ position THIS administration has put us in? What else is new.
Whoever's fault current conditions are (which I believe is both), there can be no solution by blaming anyone.
Unfortunately, the Republicans don't have anyone impressive at this point to offer over the current talking head cheerleader.Comment -

Senator Barack Obama yesterday defended his votes on behalf of funding the Iraq war.....
so supporting soldiers that are already there for the long haul and who would otherwise be wiped out without funding is supporting bush's decision to invade?

so i guess all the anti-war people that sent care packages, letters and even body armour to soldiers stationed in iraq, must also be war mongerers.
