Maybe it has something to do with CR being so close to the equator, and during the times they were out on the boat, the sun was at its' brightest, making harsh sunburns very likely. Thus, the reason for wearing tshirts. White boys don't do well in that kind of exposure.

I went to Curacao and Punta Cana for vacation twice. I never wear a shirt on the beach or on the boat. There is a magic invention called the sunscreen!

No sharks, but there were several fin back whale sightings. They are the 6th largest living mammals.

I don't know how Herbie or XXX stayed on the boat.
The Rocks we were fishing were about 40 yards out. His cast went about 10ft. Then he tried to fish it!
It took XXX about 5 minutes to walk this the first time and almost fell in twice.

We should stay in contact with that skipper. Ive been skunked out there before. I'd like to have a max of 5 guys per boat but that does get a bit pricy.

It was a Charter and after talking to the first mate and captain they agreed to take us out for basically a tank of fuel and food and drinks, which was basically what they did. Diesel on the water there was over $5 a gal and the boat held over 250 gallons. The first couple of boats didn't want to low the price at all and wanted about 75% more than what we ended up paying for this boat.
We had planned to just do bottom fishing and a little trolling. Ended up not finding many fish and had to go out over 20 miles to find the Tuna. He didn't have to do that, but he really wanted us to catch some fish, which we finally did. We were on the move most of the time chasing fish. Other boats were stopped and you could see the captins just sitting there. Captain Rich kept moving and looking for the fish. He was a good captain and Russ the 1st mate did a great job of showing everyone what to do and changing tackle and baits. There isn't really a lot you can do when the fish are not biting, but Russ busted his ass most of the time for us. I just hope everyone tipped him well. Both of them went above and beyond to make sure we had a good time.

True.
To clear it up. New the boat runs about 3.3mil with no gear. Used the boat is about 750k to maybe 900k depending on gear and upkeep. It was a very nice yacht.

For what it's worth, me and speedpro played a 2 some round at the golf course instead of fishing. It was the most beautiful course I have ever played on and the carts had GPS with a stroke counter. Saw some cool animals running across the green.
