I like the Cubs to take down the Braves at Wrigley Monday. Dempster seems to have figured things out and is pitching much better. Atlanta is hot right now but Jurrjens isn't the same pitcher he was in the first half and I think the Cubbies will put up some runs on him.

This would be a no play for me. Braves have better hitting and bullpen, but Jurrjens has given up 21 earned runs in his last 5 starts. That's 21 runs in 29 innings. 3 of those starts were against teams that are bad offensively. I would almost never back the Cubs because they are so unpredictable. Good luck, but I can't find any reason to pick a side in this game.Comment -

Jurrjens had one good start in his last 5 where he gave up 1 earned run in 7 innings to Pit. He was knocked around pretty good by the Reds once, the Giants once, and the Nationals twice. Until he shows me he is back I am not putting my money on him. Yes LB, just recently the Cubs won 2 of 3 from the Braves in Atlanta. The Braves won the first game 10-4 and lost the next two 8-4 and 6-5. This was less than 2 weeks ago.Comment -

I didnt know i had to have an essay as to why i think jurrjens sucks. Im a huge braves fan but look at his last five starts and his era in those games. His fb topped out at 86 last game and the braves bullpen has been used alot recently. The bravos have been playin hard but the cubs are the ones who are showin up to play today.Comment -

Braves win easily. All healthy and team firing on all cylinders. Bourn, Prado, Jones, McCann, Freeman, Uggla etc it's a run producing machine and the bullpen is the best in the majors.Comment -
