I want people to win. It's funny when cocky people lose, but I don't care whether they win or not.

What does it matter to me if someone else wins or losses? Does that effect my money? No, so why should it matter.

I only do if it was a play I was going to take.

Its nothing to do with my friends. I automatically air bet the other side of the side I would have taken in any given game, so I don't feel bad for either laying off or missing it. If my friends are against me, so be it.

I wouldn't cheer against my friends for the sake of it though. Thats just called being a selfish prick, who probably doesn't have too many friends.

That being said friend or not...if someone comes bragging to me about how they 'killed em' that day but are too fuckin cheap to offer a $2 soda or a $3 beer at the track or other gambling establishment...

or maybe a $20 tip out of the $5000 win they are braggin about

I tend to totally ignore that person...or change the subjuct to somethig totally off base.

No need to wish for that person to lose...as I know if they are that cheap when they win...those winnings will be bet back plus more the next day. I know guys that have won $5000...didnt give a tip to anyone i.e. family friends...didnt even buy anything...just took it all back...walked around the gambling establishment like a big shot with their big bank roll and winning stories...only to be broke a few days later with a look of disgust on their face

The TRUE losers in gambling NEVER have a losing story to tell. Only stories of how they won. Remember that

I want every one of my friends to fukking fail miserably at everything they do. I grew up in absolute poverty and all my friends have grown up in either middle class or upper middle class families and basically need to do minimal work to live a comfortable lifestyle. Their parents and parents' friends have the contacts to always land them whatever cushy job they can find. I hate seeing them able to do whatever they want and get away with it just because they come from money. Laze around all day, smoke all day, get condos bought for them by their parents. I'm fukking livid now. Fukk these clowns, I hope they lose everything. I'll fukking hook them on gambling I fukking swear I'll ruin them.

I feel you Tim. I root for everybody now, but I used to root against a couple of braggarts I know. I'm the only one still standing in this shit.
I've called out my best friends, even my brother for rooting against me.

Back in my early 20's I came up with a BlackJack "system" that I thought was unbeatable. I taught my friend who was also my roommate the system. At first we both did well with it. And then I started losing time after time. He kept on winning. I wouldn't have minded so much but he was all cocky about it like he thought of it himself. Then one night he came home and told me he lost a Grand. It kind of made me happy for some reason.

Timmy, if u are rooting agsint them when you have no money on the line then u are not a real friend and they are not your friends wither. Either that or you are just one fukked up individual. I get fukking stoked when a friend of mine wins. We fukkin slap high fives together when they are up and drink our sorrows when we are losing. If I am on the other end though, that is a different story. We usually end up making a side bet and talk shit all night long.
