I have met Slim. Very impressive guy. A little intimidating to be honest. Guy had several bodyguards with him. I wasn't permitted to make direct eye contact with him at anytime.

In some areas/spots, yes................the strong/smart people/businesses are doing very well.

right behind LEE's discount liquor

Lived here 6 years now. The best advice I can give people is find a group of friends, and make sure you're the wildest dude out of the bunch. You'll get back down to earth faster that way. If you're not, you're probably on borrowed time.

You pretty much make your own rules here. Who doesn't want that?

I've been living in Vegas for about 6 months now. Work in a SB and enjoy the whole sports betting industry. I don't mess around with any other sort of gambling.
The town has way too many issues, terrible people, and the people who say Vegas is great are crazy. There are great aspects of Vegas, but the town in general is not great.
Would never want to raise a kid here.
