Why is the bookmaker motto 'where the line originates' ?

seems to me that all they do is let pinnacle post opening lines, wait a few hours until the market moves the opening lines and when they stabilize they just snatch them up and post them

in fact thats what most books seem to do

so why are they bragging about, they just wait for someone else to post lines and then copy them
