Been meaning to post this, he hit the Colorado Cash 5 numbers for August 3rd (11-14-16-24-32), on August 4th he woke up and checked his numbers from the paper and saw they matched and couldn't believe it. The numbers were not a quick pick either, he chose them based on birthdays and other numbers of importance I guess.
He was all anxious and excited to claim it so I drove him down to the Pueblo lottery office the same day and filled out all the paper work for him, the jackpot amount is only $20,000 for Cash 5 so after taxes he received $14,200. Uncle Sam always gets his cut
I was glad to see the old man win something big finally, he has been playing the lotto/scratch tickets for years and goes to Cripple Creek (Where the casinos are here in CO) several times a month to play the slots and BS with his cronies. At least we know where to go now when someone in my family hits the big one

The pictures kind of suck since they were taken with my cell phone, and the picture he is holding above the check is some picture he took of a double rainbow that he considers lucky lol..guess it worked.
