Doubler... you may know I quit dipping for 10 years after about an 8 year stint through college and hs. I started the bad habit back up again last summer, then quit again at new years... then started back up again in April. I just got back from vacation and am going for it again. I have my last can of Skoal mint with about 3 dips left in it... wish me luck.

Spankie... Brilliant! I'm going on 9 years "cigarette" free. You've definitely crossed the hump.

yes i only use the healthy stuff these days, cannabis.

            it's good for you.

alcohol destroys people, so do cigarettes.

occasionally a gin and tonic wont hurt but 2 pints a day is overboard.
            Same here...Only thing I smoke now is kind bud...No schwag...If I can't get good pot I won't bother smoking.

it's sickening, people can spend $100,000-$200,000 in a lifetime on tobacco

but i guess its hard to preach saving money on a gambling forum

Geez, it's like looking in a mirror! I quit for about 10 years, went back for 7-8 years, and just hit 4 years clean. Only way that works is cold turkey, and the only one that can do it is YOU. Marriage and kids are no match for nicotine, but nicotine is no match for someone committed to quitting. Good luck to everyone trying to quit, you'll get there!!
